Mission Statement
THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God, infallible and inert in its original manuscripts and is our onlly rule for faith and practice (II Tim. 3:16,11, II Peter 1:21)
THE GODHEAD
We believe in the One true and Living God, eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matt.28:19, I Peter 1:2)
THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST
We believe He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, the only Redeemer, true God and true man. We believe He was crucified, buried and rose again the third day and now reigns as Lord over all. We believe in the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:20, Luke 1:35, I Corin.15:3-4, I Thess. 4:17)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is a person. He calls sinners to Christ, regenerates, baptizes and seals in the body. He indwells and fills (controls)believers and sovereignly bestows gifts to believers for the purpose of building up the Body of Christ and evangelizing the world. We believe the evidence of the Spirit controlled life is the "fruit" of the Spirit as indicated in Galatians chapter 5. (Eph. 1:23-24, 5:18, I Corin. 12:22, Gala. 5:22-23)
TOTAL DEPRAVITY OF MAN
We believe all men are sinners by nature and choice; spiritually dead and totally unable to please God. (Romans 3:19, Eph. 2:1-3)
REDEMPTION
We believe God justifies sinners by grace through faith by the Blood of Christ. This salvation is eternal and the permanent possession of every truly Born Again Believer. Furthermore, we understand that redemption is totally an act of God seeing that even the faith to believe is a gift of God. (Romans 3:23-25, Eph. 2:8-9)
THE CHURCH
We believe there is one Church, the Body of Christ, over which Christ is the head and it consists of all true believers. (Eph. 1:2-23)
CHURCH ORDINANCES
We believe the ordinances of the Church are Water Baptism (by immersion) and the Lord's Supper. (Matt. 28:19, I Corin. 11:23-25)
ETERNAL STATE
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men; the saints to everlasting joy and bliss, the lost to everlasting conscious torment. (Peter 1:4, I Thess. 4:17, Mark 9:43)
