I'm asking for prayer... For the Lord to take away the desire for me to stop smoking cigarettes. This is something only God could do. Please pray that He remove this addiction from me fully and swiftly. Lord, let me just wake up one morning with NO desire in me for these nasty cancer sticks. In Jesus name, amen.

This was sent to me by Tom Hazel.

This is from one of my Brother's in Christ. I would covet your prayers in this matter.
Thank you!

Larry Love has hit an extreme rough spot and needs prayer for his daughter and son-in-law. She is pregnant with identical twin boys. One is viable, the other not. They are in San Francisco for a procedure designed to free the viable twin from his brother so that normal development can continue through birth in September. Pray for the surgeons, Larry, his daughter & son-in-law and his parents as they deal with this situation.

Any prayer chains you can refer this to would be much appreciated.

.......MY JOURNEY.......
I'd been lonely for such along time. with dark despair all around me.My soul in a pit i could not cling and no one there to help me.
In a mist of darkness,I had wandered with nothing for a guide.months and years I had
squandered. My heart and soul were blind. At length I turned to the heavens above and sent a heartfelt prayer Is there really and truly a god of love?Is there really someone up there. Then in the mist I saw a glow a glimmer of light so fine and a voice was saying 'YOUR NEVER ALONE' then i felt his hand on mine.JOHN 14:18. My heart was opened,my soul set free as I learn to follow HIM The mist dispersed and I could see. A path no longer dim.A path that few had trod. A path that I would walk with you, the path that leads to GOD...1,Samuel 16;7
And so each day I seek to find his love to fill my soul.
and I study and ponder in my mind his words to make me whole....
As you can see,I'm trying to find my way and I'm no longer alone the light of CHRIST brightens my day as I make my JOURNEY HOME..

wasted time
The time 'that I've wasted is my biggest regret
spent in these places i will never forget just sitting and thinking about the things I've done.the crying , the laughing the hurt an the fun.now its just me and my hard driven guilt behind a wall of emptiness I allowed to be built.im trapped in my body just waiting to run .
But the chase is over, there's no place to hide. Everything is gone, including my pride. With reality suddenly right in my face.
Im scared, alone an stuck in this place. Now memories of the past flash through my head.and the pain is obvious by the tears that i shed .I ask myself why and where i went wrong i guess i was weak when i should have been strong.living for the drugs and the wings that i had grown. My feelings were lost, afraid to be shown. As i look at my past it's easy to see.The fear that i had, afraid to be steve I'D be rugged,so fast and so cool.i I'm getting too old for this tiresome game.Of acting real hard with no sense of shame.
It's time that i change and get on with my life fulfilling my dreams of a family and a wife. What my future will hold i really don't know But the years that i I've wasted are starting to show.I just live for the day when I'll get a new start. And the dreams i still hold deep in my heart.AND LORD ONCE AGAIN THANKS FOR CHANGING MY HEART.

The Weaver ~
My live is but a weaving
between the Lord and me;
I cannnot choose the colors
He worketh steadily.
Oftimes He weaveth sorrow
and I in foolish pride
forget He sees the upper
and I, the underside.
Not till the loom is silent
and the shuttles cease to fly
shall God unroll the canvas
and explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needfull
in the Weaver's skillfull hand
as the threads of gold and silver
in the pattern He has planned.

Paul now sees the tapestry of his life from a perspective that once only God could comprehend.
Now it all makes sense, now he knows why.
I pray for comfort for all the friends and family members that grieve.
I pray that God will wrap His arms around us until that day when we will stand beside our brother again, with all the other faithful warriors that went before us.

For Rick Moore. He left our 25 year marriage. I had cancer and he met a drug addict in a bar who he now lives with. He has been home from prison for almost 3 years and just left July 6th. I don't believe he is using drugs but he was drinking heavily. I pray God will bring him back to his knees before Him regardless of what happens with us. It seems pretty hopeless for us. Pray for peace, comfort, strength, and hope as well as provision for myself, Lesley Moore.

My Dad was told in Nov 08 the had lung cancer. such a shock to us. He never smoked, drank, never ill. we are a pentecostal family, Dad is organist in church, Praise God he still plays 4 times a week. Dad had 4 1/2 litres fluid drained from lung, talced and sealed, told no cure but can be treated. Dad always said he would never take treatment if anything should ever happen and has stuck to his word.Hospital happy enough with that as Dad is healthy other ways. Hospital do check up every 6 weeks as this is the only way to keep an eye on things. First CT scan was when we first found out and consultant wanted another done as it was 6 months from last one.Dad had scan, heard nothing then check up was due, so Dad had check up and CT resultes were there. Check up still the same, very little change with CT scan in which consultant was really pleased with. So Thank God for that, days of miracles and healing not yet over. So we are hanging on and believing for this healing. Would appreciate it if you would uphold my Dad in prayer and pray for this healing. God Bless you

Lord, you alone know my heart and the situation I'm in. I ask that you please help me find peace, comfort, and forgiveness for the things I don't understand. I need you to take my hand as I walk this road. Wash away the current of confusion and replace it with clarity. Open my eyes and light the path you've chosen for me. Be my guide and forgive if/when I go astray. Let your will be done in all things according to your word and the promises you made to all your children. To the family at Midnight Cry fellowship, it was my privilege to be a part of your worship service tonight. You have blessed Canyon Hills many times with your presence in our services, and tonight you blessed me by your passion and love for Jesus Christ as I joined you on your turf. Thank you, healing ministry ladies, for praying over me. I have faith that God heard your prayers, and the prayers of others on my behalf. I am including my prayer request here so that God will receive all the glory when I am healed. On January 30th I had two very large (9 cm and 4 cm diameter) endometrioma cysts removed from inside my right ovary. They have caused me a lot of pain for many, many years, though I didn't know about them til last October when the pain sent me to the emergency room. Over the past 4 months, they've returned to almost the same size (both are 4 cm in diameter). I had an ultrasound last week, which revealed this to my surgeon. Surgery will be scheduled this week for a date sometime in the next few weeks, and this time the doctor will remove the entire ovary, unless God intervenes. As I don't yet have children, but want my own desperately, I really would like to keep both ovaries. I am praying for a miraculous healing. I believe God healed me tonight through the physical touch of the healing ministry ladies, and would like continued prayer throughout the next few weeks that God would fully heal me; that the endometriosis would be taken completely away from my body, that all associated pain would be erased, and that I would walk in freedom from this painful condition. Thank you very much for your prayers and for your sweet fellowship tonight. I look forward to the next time I'm able to come fellowship with you! In Jesus' Name, your sister in Christ.
